After working in various conventional beauty salons, we suffered the consequences of using synthetic ingredients: dermatitis, respiratory problems, suffocated skin…
So in 2008, when it still sounded unusual, we decided to open our own eco-conscious beauty salon in central Bilbao.
Because we couldn't find a 100% natural product line whose formulation and active ingredients convinced us for use in the treatment room, in 2012 we launched NASEI, pto offer you the cosmetic brand with the quality of essential oils and pure plant-based active ingredients that we were looking for but couldn't find.
Celia Aviñón
Trained in aesthetics, naturopathy and aromatherapy, Celia has been caring for her clients' beauty and wellbeing from a holistic perspective for more than 25 years.
The skin reflects the organs and inner balance, which is why her work focuses on studying how to treat skin conditions at their source.
Understanding the cause of these conditions allows us - in addition to improving symptoms such as acne, dehydration or dermatitis - to find lasting and effective solutions through herbal medicine and nutrition.
As Nasei's technical director, Celia is committed to continuous improvement.
Meanwhile, in the treatment room, she turns beauty treatments into a therapeutic, multisensory experience that results in intensive, deep hydration, a relaxed body and a calm mind.
That is where her expert hands stimulate the natural resources of your skin to promote circulation and cell regeneration, resulting in a radiant complexion.
Lorena Aviñón
In addition to holding advanced-level qualifications in aesthetics and cosmetology, Lorena has an innate passion for sharing her knowledge of skincare.
In 2006, a trip to Italy on a da Vinci scholarship marked a turning point in her career when she discovered cosmetics made exclusively from botanical extracts and aesthetic techniques that were innovative at the time.
Upon her return, she began working for a well-known multinational cosmetics company, but soon realized that its values did not align with hers.
This led her to create Nasei, an organic cosmetics brand committed to holistic well-being.
In addition to the creative side of the company, Lorena enjoys sharing knowledge, researching, writing, and communicating about skincare.
As a contributor, she writes for various health and natural beauty media outlets in the country, which led her to found her own communications agency to help other brands with similar values make themselves known.
Northern cosmetics
One of the pillars of our philosophy is based on caring for ourselves with what surrounds us.
In nature, we find everything we need to protect and balance the skin.
Native ingredients such as cypress, pine, and eucalyptus come together with others from different regions, where we source various plant oils, such as prized Andalusian olive oil; aromatic medicinal plants known for their renowned properties, such as fine Castilian lavender; thyme and marjoram from the Murcian mountains; and, of course, fragrant citrus fruits from the Mediterranean basin.
We divide our lives and our workplaces between the Basque Country and Cantabria.
This is where our inspiration is born, helping us create and formulate each and every one of Nasei’s cosmetic products and the Flores del Norte home line.
